Phone Home Tutoring is committed to hiring the very best for your students. Our tutors are all trained by our founder, Emily Taylor, and given the resources needed to help your students become successful. Each tutor is either enrolled in the California Teaching Credential Program or has years of experience working with children & tutoring. Our team is professional, knowledgeable, and flexible as we navigate through many global hardships. With this group of tutors, your student is sure to find interest and excitement in their school work and learning.

My name is Emily Taylor and I am the owner and founder of Phone Home Tutoring. I graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor is Event Planning/Hospitality Management. After a few years of life in the corporate world, I decided to pursue teaching. I have been teaching dance since I was 14 and felt my love and passion could carry over into academia. My hobbies include dancing, hanging out with my friends, and watching TV sitcoms. I am currently a full-time credentialed middle school teacher at Kyrene School District in Arizona. I have over 10 years experience working with children and teaching. I am excited to grow Phone Home Tutoring and use my passion to help as many students as possible!

I’m Ms. Nicollette and I’m eager to share my love of learning with you. I hold a B.A. in Geography, with interests in hydrology and mapmaking. I also hold teaching credentials in elementary education and social science. I love the outdoors and traveling, and consider myself a lifelong learner. There is wonder all around us; let’s keep our minds active and expanding!

My name is Miranda Becerra. I am a student at Cal State Long Beach studying Political Science, Philosophy, and Legal Studies. I’ve always had a passion for academics and education and hope to pursue a career in education. I am also passionate about the arts and thus am a huge proponent of personal expression both in and outside of academics.

My name is Kim and I am a Child Development major. My hobbies include listening to music and spending time with family and friends. I just graduated with a B.S in Child Development and Family Life Studies. Working with children is a passion of mine and I have enjoyed working with children of all ages. My goal is to continue to inspire them and guide them to the best of my ability.
